Week 1:

  • Water as natural substance and raw material: Global significance, Environment and water, Water consumption,  Properties of water (physical, chemical, biological), Exercise/Transfer
  • From water to drinking water: Clarification of terms, Requirements for drinking water - Drinking Water Ordinance, Public water supply, Hazard analysis, Examination
  • Avoiding germ contamination and pollution: Influencing factors of drinking water hygiene, Piping and parameters, Thermal insulation/Energy efficiency, Drinking water heating
  • Introduction of system components: Overview of the entire system, individual components and functional description, types of disinfection, maintenance plan

  • Technology training on drainage systems, cleaning and maintenance, inspection and remediation, condition detection / coding of damage, work safety, health protection and rescue from shafts

Week 1:

Practical training: Underfloor heating circuit with solar panel

  • The heating circuit consists of a pump, valve, flow and return temperature and volume flow measurement. The required thermal energy is generated by a small solar panel. The flow and return temperatures as well as the collector temperature and the volume flow are recorded on the solar panel. The system can be used to train the basics on the heating circuit and the solar panel. The system is controlled via DDC and all functions can be visualized via PC. The documentation is part of the system.

Practical training: Underfloor heating circuit with boiler (electric heating)

  • The heating circuit consists of pump, valve, flow and return temperature as well as volume flow measurement.  The required thermal energy is generated by an electric heater. The electric heating simulates a boiler. The flow and return temperatures as well as the collector temperature and the volume flow are measured at the electric heater. The system can be used to train the basics of the heating circuit and the boiler.

Thermal anti-legionella system with boiler (electric heating)

  • The Thermolegio system consists of a small cylinder, charging pump, circulation pump, cylinder temperature, circulation temperature, flow and return temperature and volume flow measurement. The required thermal energy is generated by an electric heater. The electric heater simulates a boiler. The flow and return temperatures as well as the collector temperature and the volume flow are recorded at the electric heater. The system can be used to train the basics of hot water preparation with thermal legionella protection and the boiler. The documentation is part of the system.

Week 2:

Ventilation with heat pump

  • The ventilation system consists of a fan, air heater, cross-flow heat exchanger, pump, valve, flow and return temperature as well as supply air and extract air temperature. The ventilation system can heat or cool. The required heating or cooling energy is generated by a small air heat pump. The flow and return temperatures and the volume flow are recorded at the air heat pump. The system can be used to train the basics of the ventilation system and the heat pump.

Photovoltaic system with grid feedback

The photovoltaic system consists of a small photovoltaic module and the inverter as well as an electricity meter. The electrical power generated can be monitored and evaluated using the electricity meter. The system can be used to train the basics of photovoltaic technology. The documentation is part of the system.
