Project goal:

The develoPPP project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH aimed to promote training and further education in the Vietnamese construction sector and to improve knowledge about new building materials and environmentally friendly technologies.

Contents:

In a joint consortium (ARGE) led by Bau Bildung Sachsen e. V. with Xella Baustoffe GmbH and iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH, capacities for teaching staff and specialists with completed vocational training were built up at the Vietnamese College of Urban Works Construction (CUWC) in Hanoi.

The expert employees of the partner companies, in close cooperation with Bau Bildung Sachsen e. V. passed on their knowledge of energy-efficient construction and building operation to the teachers of the CUWC. The Bau Bildung Sachsen e. V. developed a training series as well as teaching and learning materials together with the CUWC.

Tasks of Bau Bildung Sachsen e.V.:

The Bau Bildung Sachsen e. V. supported the college in creating a training and further education course for environmentally friendly, energy-efficient construction. Part of this measure was the construction of a model house. At this, the teachers can convey in a practical way how building materials are correctly handled and processed and aspects of insulation and energy production as well as questions of domestic water and sewage problems are demonstrated. Apprentices and specialists undergoing further training can immediately apply what they have learned.
