Project goal:

The DEG's DeveloPPP project (2015 - 2017) aimed at a sustainable transfer of know-how and technology and the development of a country-wide set of rules for cost-effective, sustainable road construction in the rural regions of Vietnam.

Contents:

Together with the Freiberg company Landscaping, Road, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering GmbH, cooperation with the Vietnamese educational partner (CUWC) and industrial partners in Vietnam and Europe was initiated and strengthened as part of the two-year project.

A one kilometer long reference section was implemented to illustrate the innovative, cost-effective and sustainable road construction process. The construction of the reference route was scientifically monitored and evaluated. On the basis of the present evaluation, the inclusion of the ecologically sustainable standard construction method in Vietnam's catalog of regulations is still being sought.

As part of the project, teaching materials on the subject were created at the same time, on the basis of which Vietnamese specialist teachers were trained to become special trainers of the new content in order to ensure long-term, sustainable transfer of knowledge to students.

Widespread information events on the subject of "ecologically sustainable road construction" contributed to the substantial transfer of relevant knowledge and to increasing awareness of the German company's technologies.

Tasks of Bau Bildung Sachsen e.V.:

The building Education Saxony e. V. played a central role in the course of the project with the creation, preparation and coordination of training documents. We moderated the inclusion of the new content on the subject of "ecologically sustainable road construction" in the curriculum of the Vietnamese education partner, carried out the trainer training on site and advised the Vietnamese colleagues on how to convey the new content in their own lessons. In addition, the construction of Bildungs ​​Sachsen e. V. Coordinative tasks in the area of ​​project management throughout the course of the project.
