General goal of the project:
Enrichment of the range of training and further education and promotion of career orientation among the
young people from the Polish-German border area and also the adaptation of the training and further education offer to the changing labor market.

Specific objectives of the project:

• Vocational orientation in practice - new skills,
• Promotion of professional orientation in the Polish-German border area.

Project description (content):

The project includes the implementation of the following measures:

• Meetings for teachers from Poland and Germany, careers advisers, representatives of labor market and education institutions (exchange of experience) combined with a tour of the vocational training center.
• Language courses in the neighboring language for students from Poland and Germany (allows to eliminate the language barrier).
• The main part of the measures will be five-day vocational orientation workshops for Polish students in Saxony and three-day didactic visits for German students in Poland. In Saxony, Polish students will get to know the specifics of some professions and culture of Germany and spend their free time. In Poland, German students will visit Polish schools, get to know workplaces, tourist attractions. You will take part in themed workshops on personal development and you will spend time with Polish youth.
• One of the more important elements of the project - for both groups - will be the appointments with the career counselor, during which the trends on the labor market and the situation on the cross-border market will be addressed. An important practical element will be advice on career development.
• A supplement of the program will be the publication of a mini-dictionary PL/DE - with branch vocabulary, for the students.
• An e-book will be published for the purpose of advertising project requirements - for a publication that was developed as part of the "Career Orientation Without Borders" project (about career orientation and the labor market in the border area) and thus we will reach a larger group of recipients.
