MatrixConEU - Matrix on tasks, qualifications and competencies of middle construction site management in Europe.

Content and results:

As part of the EU project "MatrixConEU", the description and systematic comparison of the qualification levels in middle construction site management (e.g. German master ≠ Slovakian master) of selected European countries was developed. The aim was to make it easier for employers to classify the qualification levels and to bridge hurdles in cooperation.

Guided by Bau Bildung Sachsen e. V., the partners from Germany, Sweden, Holland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia worked out similarities and differences between middle management on the construction site. There is middle management everywhere, and it always covers a very similar range of tasks, but only in Germany are all positions regulated by law or guidelines. In Sweden, for example, none of the relevant positions are regulated in a similar way. Basically it could be determined that the positions are similar but not the same. Under no circumstances can they be transferred directly to another European partner country.
