SG TQC - Sino-German Alliance for Technology Transfer and Qualification in Construction

Project goal:

The strategic alliance as part of the develoPPP.de program (GIZ) aimed at comprehensive technology transfer in the field of energy efficiency, with special consideration of securing skilled workers in China, in order to ensure the sale and correct handling of products and services, especially of the companies involved, in the long term and to improve their market opportunities.

Contents:

A total of five companies from Germany and one from China were involved in the project, which ran for a total of 3.5 years. These could be assigned to three major subject areas:

I. Modern building materials and components

Baumit Building Material (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Hengzhi Construction Co.,Ltd.
II. Plant engineering and building automation

DRECHSLERtechnik GmbH
construction msr GmbH
III. Environmentally friendly waste water technology

Tube GmbH
Building permission Werner/Richter GmbH
In order to ensure a sustainable improvement in the training of young Chinese and the post-qualification of specialists, three Chinese colleges were selected, whose curricula were analyzed with the participation of Bau Bildung Sachsen and expanded using suitable modules.

In the next step, teaching and learning media were created together with the companies and media packages including practical training elements were developed for each topic. Modern e-learning modules on the subject complexes were implemented  at the Chinese colleges on the basis of the analogue teaching materials.

In order to ensure the long-term success of the project, suitable teachers from the partner colleges were also identified and trained. The examination and certification of the further training services is carried out by Bau Bildung Sachsen.

At the same time, a practical qualification of specialists to become instructors took place in the companies and on the construction site.

Selected Chinese students completed courses on energy efficiency technologies at Bau Bildung Sachsen in Leipzig in the summer of 2019 as part of the project.

In order to anchor the results of the project on the part of the state and in Chinese industry, workshops and an international conference were held in which representatives of associations, political institutions, the construction industry and other relevant economic sectors took part.

The experience gained was also applied to Mongolian specialists and managers in the construction industry. To this end, four training courses on modern construction technologies took place in Germany.

Tasks of Bau Bildung Sachsen e. v.:

On behalf of GIZ, Bau Bildung Sachsen e.V. was responsible for the coordination of the entire project and the coordination between the partners themselves, and on the other hand we used our many years of know-how in the field of training and further education in Germany and abroad for the creation, processing and coordination the training documents. In addition, we advised the Chinese teacher colleagues on integrating the topics into the existing curricula and implemented the training courses for lecturers from the partner schools and the selected construction site and company staff.
