Project goal:

DEG's DeveloPPP project aimed at sustainable know-how and technology transfer in the field of pipeline management and urban drainage.

Contents:

Together with the Leipzig company Tubus GmbH, cooperation with a Chinese educational partner and industrial partners was initiated and consolidated as part of the two-year project (2014 - 2016) in order to ensure a fundamental know-how transfer in the context of training future planners and users of the technologies in China.

A demonstration plant was installed at the educational partner's premises and Tubus products were integrated into the existing sewage system of the Zhejiang College of Construction. Both elements are now used at the educational institution for training and presentation purposes.

Other central project components were the creation of teaching materials on the subject of "pipeline management and urban drainage" and the training of Chinese specialist teachers to become special trainers in the new subject area in order to ensure a sustainable transfer of knowledge to the students of the Asian educational partner.

Representatives from science, industry and politics in the target country were addressed and made aware of the new technology at an international conference entitled "Water and Wastewater".

Tasks of Bau Bildung Sachsen e.V.:

The building Education Saxony e. V. played a central role in the course of the project with the creation, preparation and coordination of training documents. We moderated the inclusion of the new content on the subject of "pipeline management and urban drainage" in the curriculum of the Chinese training partner, carried out the trainer training on site and advised the Chinese colleagues on how to convey the new content in their own lessons. In addition, the construction of Bildungs ​​Sachsen e. V. Coordinative tasks in the area of ​​project management throughout the course of the project.
